I take this opportunity to congratulate our colleague, Senator Joe O'Reilly, on his election to the executive bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. I acknowledge his work in that forum along with other colleagues who comprise the Irish delegation. Senator O'Reilly also holds the position of Leas-Chathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann. I wish him all the best in the prestigious position of being a bureau member of the Council of Europe. He has our good wishes. I thank him for his work and ongoing contribution.
