There are now parts of Dublin, for example where Cuala GAA is in south Dublin, that have high percentages of Irish speakers because of all-Irish schools. It is not what the Gaeltacht legislation is about. The planning legislation in regard to the Gaeltacht flows from the Gaeltacht legislation of 1926, 1956 and 2010. It is purely linguistic. It has nothing to do with music, hurling, football or anything else.
