Despite having a healthy weight for the last five years and no longer receiving any medical treatment, she was denied mortgage protection. I also know of cases where if people are receiving counselling, that is used to either refuse them mortgage protection insurance or to charge them extortionate premiums.

I ask each of the organisations to comment and outline the measures that are in place to ensure that people with eating disorders or who have had eating disorders in the past are not discriminated against.
