My supplementary question to that is in respect of the redundancy package, bearing in mind the Minister's and his officials' assertions that we cannot legislate for anything beyond the statutory redundancy provision and bearing in mind these are jobs that will be lost because of a decision the Houses of the Oireachtas make. This is a rare occurrence. Has the Minister considered provisions such as those in the globalisation fund to provide for specific funding for retraining and other relevant supports for those employees who will lose their jobs as a result of this decision?
