Dublin City Council is one of the only local authorities to abolish the rebate for commercial property rates. Did that bring many vacant commercial properties back into use? What has been the experience?

I have questions for both councils in Waterford and Dublin. How many section 11 notices have they issued in the previous three years? The officials may not have the figures with them so I would appreciate if they could send them to us after the meeting.

For both local authorities, how many vacant sites do they own? What potential housing units have they put on their own vacant sites? Again, I appreciate that the information might be available now so I would appreciate if the officials can forward the information.
