I do not want to name properties, but the Drake Inn in Finglas village has been empty for the best part of ten years, with very little activity on the site. There is a perception the developer might do something, and a bad planning application has been lodged. I do not want our guests to respond to any individual case. My point is it does not appear the local authority has the policy tools to deal with those sorts of commercial sites.
