The reason I am raising the issue is because of the drain on the health budget. I fully understand that for someone who is a smoker, it is not easy to come off cigarettes. It is such a challenge for anyone and we must acknowledge that. The question is whether there are sufficient supports in place for people who want to stop smoking for their own health. I am not sure whether there are enough supports in place currently. Perhaps that is something that we should also be reviewing.
