I have been talking about fairness in respect of this system since we first came in here today. This is very difficult and I do not know how one can sell to somebody on the street the idea that penalty points are going to be imposed on you, that you appeal it, are found to be innocent, and these points still remain on your record. That does not make any sense whatsoever. There is no point in coming up with funny analogies as it just would not make any sense to anyone out there and it does not make any sense to us in here. Again, I am just asking that we deal with this on the basis of fairness. It is quite straightforward. If one appeals the penalty points, and it is found that they should not have been imposed on the person, they should therefore not be on one’s record. It is as simple as that.
