Deputy Leddin and the Minister discussed climate change and all of that. Mr. Barnes also expressed his concern about climate change mitigation. I am concerned that we are facing a looming charging crisis with the 2030 ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars, in particular with regard to rising rates of apartment living.

Will the Minister consider a requirement or incentive for businesses and apartment developers to encourage them to provide charging infrastructure and better funding for local authorities to ensure that public charging is also available?
