To go back to that issue, when I was a councillor, there was a process whereby the planners would go through a planning application and answer any questions we had.

Nothing was noted but that process informed me and the other councillors of what the planning application was. We could then discuss it with our constituents based on proper information. Planners understand applications better. After 2018, there was a void because the planners no longer briefly described applications to us, including what they were about or why they were doing particular things. Unless we knew what we were looking for, it was very difficult to understand applications. I was concerned about that. Mr. Paul Hogan stated this process was still available and I hope he will confirm that.
