I can only speak for the Civil Service but the Irish language positions are determined by the offices or Departments themselves. It iis not a matter for my organisation to decide which posts should or should not be an Irish language post. That demand then translates into a request to the Public Appointed Service, as my colleague Mr. O’Toole pointed out, to recruit people for specific Irish language positions.
