It is of concern and in the case I dealt with personally, I wrote to the parties who were appealing to ask to get the case expedited in the High Court because of the jurisdictional issue and the effect it could have on the Tax Appeals Commission. I was proactive in that case and they both went to the High Court to get their hearing expedited. I am pleased to say the High Court listened to them. The case is listed for October and will take place over six days. We take an active interest in the cases even when they leave us if there is an effect on our case base and in that particular case there was. Delays in the system are a big cause of concern for everybody, including me.
