I thank the Minister of State and Ms Keane. Deputy Bruton raised the issue of approved liquidators. The Minister of State has highlighted the position on solicitors and accountancy firms. What is the position on a small business? We are going to see people entering this process over €10,000. For a large business, this would not be an issue but it is the type of debt that would bring down a micro-company. If businesses are to be referred to large-scale practitioners, the debts that will accrue by the end of the process will probably be in the order of a few thousand euro. Could any arrangement be arrived at under the legislation whereby, with the agreement of the creditors, a de facto accountant could be appointed to engage in the process? This to improve the scheme to try to reduce the cost to micro-businesses.
