I move amendment No. 19:

In page 6, between lines 33 and 34, to insert the following: “ ‘economic justice’ means recognising that disadvantaged groups are disproportionately affected in many ways by climate change and associated policy objectives, and that adaptations and mitigation practices must be achieved in a morally fair and socially just manner, that will have at its heart the goal of creating opportunities for all to thrive and that prosperity and justice go hand-in-hand rather than in opposition to one another;”.

Those of us living in rural communities are seriously concerned that many people will be disadvantaged by this climate action Bill.
