My amendment specifically does not make reference to nitrous oxide because I accept the point the Minister is making, namely, that there is a big challenge there and that approximately one third of the warming effect of agriculture comes from nitrous oxide. Substantial progress needs to be made. I ask the Minister to look again at the issue of biogenic methane and to look at the recommendations of the Climate Change Advisory Council. We will revisit this on Report Stage.
