On that point, obviously, in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which is the example we are talking about, everybody recognises the Skelligs. The bit that was shot in west Cork was shot at a place called Brow Head. No one can identify for sure whether or not it actually appears in the movie, yet Mark Hamill drank in the local pub and it is now an absolutely thriving tourist destination for that reason alone.
