I thank the witnesses for the enlightened discourse. It certainly put the cat among the pigeons, at least. I have three brief questions. Do they think there could be a mechanism based on age for the regulation of private messaging systems, for example, only private messages sent or received by children covered in the Bill? Do they think the commission as it is currently defined may have too much discretion in investigation or not? Under the Bill, the commissioner can demand information, but that is without prior judicial authorisation, particularly in individual private communications. Do they think the Bill could cause problems for people who want to organise politically? If so, can they give examples or more details of how it could?
