The counselling, however, is telling someone about the empiric recurrence risk and what we can offer, and that perhaps a woman's obstetrician could do a detailed scan looking for this on the next pregnancy. If the child did not have anything structural, however, there is very little one can offer. One can just give the recurrence risk.
