I thank our guests and my colleagues who have been participating. That concludes our deliberations for today. I thank the witnesses most sincerely not only for their statements but also the very meaningful way in which they engaged with members and helped to extrapolate and tease out further ideas and suggestions. We will take on board everything that has been presented here today. It has been very useful ahead of our meeting with the tech giants next week.

The committee now stands adjourned until 11.30 a.m on Wednesday, 19 May for a private meeting on MS Teams, followed by a public meeting of the joint committee at 12.30 p.m. virtually and in committee room 1 with representatives of Facebook, Twitter and TikTok to continue the committee's scrutiny of the online safety and media regulation Bill.
