I have a brief question for Community Gardens Ireland. Before that, I wish to give an honourable mention to Grow It Yourself, GIY, Ireland Limited, which is based in Waterford. Tramore has the second oldest GIY branch in the country. I wish to mention the Grow It Forward scheme it is running this year, recognising that so many people have turned to their gardens. GIY has always been brilliant in terms of structuring people into the first harvest and ensuring that their first experience with gardening is a positive one.

On my specific question, we were speaking about no countrywide policy for community gardens and allotments. I agree that is a lacuna. What would Community Gardens Ireland like to see in a countrywide policy for allotments and community gardens?
