Women make choices already. Let us remember that fewer people breastfeed than use formula milk or feed artificially. I do not understand where the choice comes in because choice already exists and fewer people choose to breastfeed. While women might want a choice they are not being given it, and supported, to make the choice to breastfeed. The status quois formula feeding. That is what everybody reverts to so I cannot see where the Deputy is coming from in his argument about choice because, in fact, it is being able to choose to breastfeed that is the problem, not the other way around.
