There is research on this, some of which I have published. It looks like financial services in particular are very sensitive to corporation tax but they do not create the same number of jobs. They have huge turnover etc. and can potentially generate a lot of revenue but they are the most sensitive to corporation tax. Manufacturing is far less sensitive to corporation tax. As for other services, again we come back to human capital and education. Those are what really matter.
