No apologies have been received.

I welcome everyone to our online meeting. Due to the current situation regarding Covid-19, only the clerk to the committee, support staff and I are in the committee room. Members of the committee are attending remotely from within the precincts of Leinster House. This is due to the constitutional requirement that in order to participate in public meetings members must be physically present within the confines of the place Parliament has chosen to sit, namely, Leinster House or in the Convention Centre. I ask Members to confirm their location before contributing to ensure we are adhering to the constitutional requirement. The Comptroller and Auditor General, Mr. Seamus McCarthy, is a permanent witness to the committee and he is joining us remotely.

Before we begin our public engagement, we considered the minutes of our meetings of 23, 24 and 30 March at our private meeting last Wednesday, 21 April. Standing Order 107(3) requires that the minutes be agreed in a public session. Are those minutes agreed to? Agreed. As previously agreed, the minutes will be published on the committee's website.
