It is an important issue but it is one which perhaps lies with the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment because it is fundamentally about the conditions of workers.

My understanding is that he and the Department have met representatives of various platforms in that regard. The matter would come under the aegis of his Department, given its responsibility in respect of employment rights and related issues rather than it being a matter to be dealt with under this legislation.
