The media commission will have an ongoing role in taking a risk-based approach. It will consider the landscape, engage with other regulators across Europe and services in Ireland, and reassess what poses the highest level of risk in light of what is out there. It will be in a position to designate new services as they come on stream, on the basis of the risk they pose to the public.
