At the end of his opening statement, Dr. Cassidy said that "policy must remain focused on supporting household incomes and firm liquidity in order to provide the most solid basis for recovery". In his view, is the taxing of the pandemic unemployment payment and the temporary wage subsidy scheme counterproductive?
