Dr. Karina Doorley:
The 2016 minimum wage increase was less than 10%. That would not be considered a large increase in the minimum wage. An increase of 20% might be a large increase and an increase of more than 20% would certainly be large. It really depends on how long it has been since the last increase and what wage growth has been over that period.
