I have not put 45 cattle in a shed with five others but many transmission experiments have been done over the past 100 years. This was established in the first part of the 20th century and it has been shown in recent years through whole genome sequencing, which we are now all familiar with from Covid-19. There is no doubt at all about it. I would be happy to have my team supply with Deputy Fitzmaurice with a scientific review of this. I believe Professor Simon More from UCD appeared before the committee last year or in 2019 and outlined much of this.
