I thank Professor Harvey and Mr. Barrett for their responses. I agree with the point they are making on consent and the technical point in relation to that. The point we are making is that while that is the case, it is not without broader political ramifications. As Senator Currie said, there is a concern that not acknowledging those could lead to just as many problems as before. That is the impetus behind these concerns.
