Consumer Credit (Amendment) Bill 2018: Discussion

It sounds from what the witnesses are saying that moneylenders appear to be very attuned to the needs of certain people in communities and to know when they may need money. Is there anything that credit unions or other community figures can do to replicate what Ms Corcoran's organisation has done with the It Makes Sense loans in order to make people more aware of sources of income other than moneylenders?
