We will carry out the finance and accounting procedures for the Department of Education when it comes across to us. So as not to confuse matters in the context of payroll, the actual administration and payment of salaries will remain with the Department. Administration and payment of salaries is done by the Department for all primary and secondary schools. That is done in Athlone and that is where all salaries for teachers are administered.
