We are getting much correspondence about the airline industry, although particularly in respect of Aer Lingus, and what is now unfolding as an effective ban on non-essential air travel. Does the Minister see a situation where the Government, particularly his Department, will be providing further State support to airlines such as Aer Lingus? Many people are extremely worried about their livelihoods and work. Does the Minister see the State providing further funding, or State support, to ensure airlines like Aer Lingus and Ryanair can come through this unfolding situation of what is an effective ban on foreign air travel outside of essential travel?
