I know the Minister's track record and I put a lot of stock and faith in a commitment he might give. Perhaps he would write to the committee, which would be helpful to us. I accept he has given oral testimony, but it would help the committee if we have his commitment in writing, as to how he sees the situation proceeding. That is important. What we have all learnt here would indicate that we are seriously out of line with reasonable practice, let alone best practice, across the developed world.
