Based on the information I have, there is a problem for particular customers depending on the level of the risk. Every application for an insurance policy is considered case by case. There may be particular circumstances where a risk is especially high, the cost of a premium is prohibitive, and people, in essence, may feel they cannot afford an insurance policy. Some people may not be able to get a quote depending on previous claims, the nature of the business and the level of insurance risk that attaches to it. We have the insurance ombudsman. A person who has a particular issue who has not got satisfaction through a broker or in the Irish market can contact the insurance ombudsman who will deal with such matters. We would always recommend that on a case-by-case basis.
