Insurance Issues: Minister of State at the Department of Finance

According to previous figures I have looked at, insurance companies often have a low rate of pursuance of claims and testing them to the full extent. One of the reasons the companies claim that is difficult is obviously the costs involved. I have seen cases where the legal costs could be €20,000 while the claim could be about the same. There is a decision to be made regarding whether it is worthwhile to continue a case in that kind of circumstance. How will it be possible within the courts system to reduce the costs faced in challenging claims which could be spurious?
