One point raised earlier related to people who were refused entry. If there is no immediate flight available, they are held in prisons. There was a high-profile case at the weekend. Does the Department look at the cost of this, apart from the human cost to individuals? I understand the young woman was ten days, if not two weeks, in the Dóchas Centre. Obviously, there is a cost associated with that. I understand that the cost of flights is borne by the carrier. I found that out today and it came as a surprise. Is that calculated? Is it simply part of the Prison Service?
