Special Committee on Covid-19 Response

Business of Special Committee

Dr. Ronan Glynn:

Particularly the day-to-day numbers. The virus remains widely dispersed throughout a range of different settings. On the one hand, it is good news that we are not experiencing big clusters but, on the other, it makes it more difficult to control because there is not one obvious target. The age range of cases is similar to that throughout the rest of the country. At best, the situation is beginning to stabilise but we do need a few more days of data to confirm that trend. In the past seven days, we have seen almost 1,100 cases in Dublin.
