Special Committee on Covid-19 Response
Travel Restrictions
Mr. Jim Breslin:
On the position with overseas travel, which includes Britain, the public health advice is that there be a period of 14 days self-isolation. People travelling from Britain into Dublin Airport, for example, will be required to fill out the passenger locator form, including their intended address for their stay. If they were to change that address during the course of the 14 days, they will be required to update it. They will be subject to checks over the course of the 14 days - at day 2 and day 12 - to confirm that they are in the location they have declared. That is the current arrangement vis-à-vistravel from Britain.
