That industry would find it much easier if it could get in workers from the EU for recruitment and a whole plethora of other reasons. In certain cases, the industry simply cannot do this and it can only afford to pay a certain wage. We have to be careful. While not compromising any employees’ terms and conditions, we must support certain industries which could make a tangible case to employ non-EEA workers.
