We are a unique part of the history of Ireland and our voices must be heard. We are all getting older and we will not be around for very much longer because of the state of our health. As survivors and because of what we have been through, our life expectancy is much shorter. We need to tell our history rather than having it written by other academics or people in the public arena. Our voices must be heard.
