Cycling Policy: Discussion

I have driven and cycled in Mayo and in a fair bit of rural Ireland and the idea of four cyclists cycling abreast is a myth. It can happen that two cyclists will cycle abreast but cyclists are road users as well and they need space on the road. We are arguing that every town and village should have a travel plan to enable children to get to school by walking and cycling and they are not dependent-----
