Public Accounts Committee

2018 Annual Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General and Appropriation Accounts
Vote 22: Courts Service

9:00 am

Ms Angela Denning:

It depends on the circumstances of the minor. In normal cases where a child breaks his or her leg in an accident, that money is in court and is there until the child is 18. On the child's 18th birthday, he or she can come into the accountant's office and have that money paid out on proof of his or her age and identity.
