When a committee flags matters which are obvious, the response is always that they are being looking at or that work is ongoing on them. It is hard to credit this issue is still ongoing and that the different services have not got their act together. It beggars belief that a simple matter of collating data that would provide useful information and result in co-ordination between all of the services involved is still ongoing. It is laughable that there is not this co-ordination. It flags everything that was said. It all relates back to co-ordination, the collating of information and where the legislation stands. I have always said there is a need for the consolidation of the road traffic laws because they are in an absolute mess. Adding little bits here and there without consolidation is causing many of the problems experienced. Hearing that work is ongoing aand that the Department is only thinking about it at this stage is not good. If the work had been done, we would not have half of these problems.

On the statement on accounting policies and principles, in appendix A on page 25 eight courthouses are listed, in respect of seven of which there were public private partnerships. There does not seem to be valuations for them. Why is that?
