Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government

Latent Defects: Discussion

Mr. Andrew Prior:

Some people have been very lucky in that NAMA has paid for their entire work. For example, a development in Wexford was half owned by NAMA and half owned by private individuals. The half owned by NAMA could not be sold but the other half could not afford to pay so NAMA had to pay for absolutely everything in order to be able to sell the other half. That stinks.
