I thank the acting Minister for Justice and Equality. Obviously, it is a good day for Monaghan in particular. I wish to thank Senator Robbie Gallagher and Deputy O'Callaghan for initiating and progressing it. It is one of the few occasions, given the negativity around money messages and the difficulties people are having, of cross-party effort. At least there is cross-party support for this legislation as well as support from the Department and the Government. It is good to see cross-party politics working. When does the Minister expect to see the Bill commenced so that she can effect the change proposed? The Bill will pass Committee Stage today. When will the Government crystallise it so that we see it happening for the people who need the change?
