I welcome all of the witnesses. I thank them for coming before us. As the Minister is aware, Bantry General Hospital is the only rural model 2 hospital. Last December, the Minister announced great things for the hospital, including the endoscopy unit and rehabilitation services. Where does that all stand at present? Will the Minister guarantee that the overspend on the national children's hospital will not affect the plans for Bantry? The hospital provides a great service to the people of west Cork. It helps people avoid travelling to the city, where they would take up bed spaces, so when Bantry General Hospital is running well it is a win-win situation.
