I will not speculate on what the Border infrastructure will be. I am responsible for providing a policing service to protect society and other agencies within society. We operate against the threat of smuggling and other organised crime using an intelligence-based response. That is about focused operations. That is where I envisage this developing: working with partner agencies, supporting them and developing intelligence and specific operations and investigations.
