Deputy Martin mentioned how the Society of St. Vincent de Paul supported homeless families and families in direct provision with their school costs. Their living arrangements already create stress, but they must also face the same issues as the wider community in terms of school costs. It is a major issue. We also support lone parents, Travellers, people with disabilities and people who are unemployed in this regard. School costs cause significant stress and worry for families.
