Yes. This prosecution was the first time this was undertaken in the State. There is much to learn from that. Now is the time to reflect on it and see what are the appropriate powers for Tusla to have. As much as we want to have these extra powers, they will have to be exercised with great care and proportionality because on the plus side Tusla cannot be closing services because of the effect that can have on communities as well.
