My recollection from that other committee hearing which I attended was that there are entitlements on practice and those entitlements are naturally honoured until such time as the entitlements of practice of public or private consultants change by way of an agreed policy change. In fairness, when the hospital was at the planning stage it would have to adhere to those contractual structures that exist.
